Government and local body health regulations require users of chlorine-based sanitizers to have appropriate test kits to verify their strength. With a color match of 0-25-50-100-200 ppm, the test strips measure concentrations from 0 to 200 ppm, detect depletion of solution that needs to be replaced, and detect excessive amounts of disinfectant. It also helps to avoid using excessive amounts of biocides.  This test strip is used where a higher level of disinfection is required. When the place is fogged, it can be placed in hidden locations to reassure the user that the sanitising solution has reached that specific place.
