Understanding Your Water Intake

Understanding Your Water Intake

The initial phase in crafting a water purification system that supplies a reliable flow of safe, potable water is to acquire a comprehensive understanding of your source water. This involves conducting a detailed analysis of your water source against the drinking water standards stipulated in relevant legislation. These standards could be aligned with EU directives like the European Drinking Water Directive 98/83 EC or national standards specific to your country. This analysis forms the foundation of our approach, enabling us to tailor the PaquaVida Water Purification System to address the unique characteristics of your source water. The system commences its operation with a self-priming pump, which initiates the process by drawing in the water that requires purification.

Installation and Setup

Installation and Setup

The system is fitted within a designated compartment and connected to a fresh water supply. It's adaptable for use in remote locations.

Pre-filtration Process

Pre-filtration Process

During this phase, water passes through Ionisers in the Pre-filtration System, efficiently removing contaminants like iron, ammonium, manganese, and turbidity. This step also includes adjusting the water's pH and hardness.

Ultra-filtration

Ultra-filtration

After pre-filtration, the water is temporarily stored in the Header Tank, then it undergoes ultra-filtration. This process involves passing the water through membranes and infusing it with Anolyte ANK for deeper purification.

Storage and Distribution

The treated water is then moved to the Treated Water Tank. From there, it's pumped under pressure to external storage tanks, making it ready for usage.

Automatic Control System

Automatic Control System

Equipped with an automated control system, the WPS continues to operate once activated. It can be manually stopped or will automatically shut down in case of a system malfunction. The control is straightforward, managed via a simple panel.

Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)

Included in the system is a UPS with two Power Controllers and batteries, ensuring continued operation during power cuts. This UPS also regulates the power supply, automatically transitioning to battery mode during outages.

Maintenance and Safety

Maintenance and Safety

The system includes a Brine Tank for the Ionisers and incorporates safety features to avert overfilling or running dry. Designed for fixed installations, it operates efficiently in areas with limited facilities, as long as power and fresh water are accessible.
